The Ethical Table: Embedding an Ethical Framework for Creative Practice Within the Curriculum

The Ethical Table established a platform for furthering discussions, advancing agendas, and developing curricula with a focus on ethics in creative practice, specifically architecture and spatial practices. It addresses a pressing need to embed an ethical framework of practice within the curriculum in response to our critical times when demand for diversity, participation and collaboration in creative practice is ever more pressing. As more and more decision making within many areas of art and design practice become increasingly intertwined with ethical determination, the positioning of ethics as an aspect of learning development for HE in design bears reconsideration (Rendell 2016).
