Navigating Moodle – Using a co-design approach to design the Virtual Learning Environment for online learning

As part of our ongoing work to improve the online student experience, we’re currently looking at different ways of designing and structuring Moodle. Recently, we’ve brought together staff and students to explore how students engage with Moodle and how information can most effectively be presented. We worked with students in a co-design approach where through a guided workshop and supported individual work, students were able to create wireframes based on specific scenarios that will be used to inform the future VLE design.

In this session, we’ll present our process as an example of how staff and students can work together.
