Brief description of session and activities

This poster session will explore selected academic uses of archives and special collections in teaching, learning and research at University of the Arts London and will celebrate the range of good practice that currently exists in this area that both enhance the University’s reputation and provide significant academic value.

The poster will showcase case studies that demonstrate how students who engage with collections are directly helped to achieve their learning outcomes. These case studies also demonstrate effective academic uses of archives and special collections.

A sense of the value of our unique collections in teaching, learning and research and a copy of the new publication which showcases academic uses. An invitation to make use of the collections across the colleges, as integral resources for courses.
