KE curriculum collaborations with arts and health partners

Andrew Marsh: Course Leader MA Arts and Cultural Enterprise; Curator in Practice BA Culture, Criticism and Curation, Central Saint Martins

BA Culture, Criticism and Curation at Central Saint Martins have had a 3 year partnership with arts and health charity Paintings in Hospitals and Kings College Health Centre GP Practice working with students on the topic of mental health. This paper will explore the challenges and highlights of this collaboration and how it has led to a forthcoming KE Impact Fund project in social prescribing with a local GP practice in the borough of Camden. It will present key strategic points for developing fruitful partnerships with charitable organisations that feed in to, and shape, teaching and learning in curriculum.
