Immersive and experiential: designing a virtual reality classroom experience

In this workshop, Andy Lee, Ben Turnbull, Ravin Raori and Sheldon Chow will discuss and share their experience of designing an experiential session to conclude the LCF Better Lives unit project, Emerging Technologies in Fashion, where they immersed students in two virtual platforms: Shapes XR and Frame VR.

In this session, the students and tutors co-created a virtual fashion artefact. This virtual experience was used as a vehicle to facilitate conversations around the emergent and collaborative nature of these technologies and continue the conversation around technology in relation to the Better Lives themes of diversity, social responsibility and sustainability.
