Working in the new paradigm – the lasting impact of the pandemic on students from under represented student groups

In response to the first UK national lockdown in March 2020 there was an unprecedented rush of activity to move teaching online. As students and staff grappled with the immense nature of life-wide change, many gaps impacting learning, wellbeing and the futures of students revealed themselves.

In July 2021 Creative Shift commissioned a report to understand the experience of students in order to better understand the effects of the pandemic and incorporate some of the lessons learnt into future programming.

This session unpacks what we might do as an institution to better support these students moving forward.
