The challenge of collaboration: students as co-creators

Writing a new course is an opportunity to re-think teaching and learning. In this short key note, Pratap Rughani (Course Leader MA Documentary Film, LCC) examines the cycle of making, teaching, learning and reflection through which new collaborations develop and asks what is possible and questions what we really mean by collaboration. With examples from students and Alumni Pratap will argue for closer engagement with students who want to co-create new opportunities whilst scrutinising the true power dynamics of what collaboration can really be.
