Building flexible online learning: a new framework from UAL Online

Over the last few months, the UAL Online team has developed a new pedagogic framework for delivering online distance learning. Rooted in research, existing practice and the experience of the UAL Online team, the framework takes into account the differing nature of online distance learners and the way in which we can accommodate their needs by creating a flexible, self-paced learning experience that gives the students agency over how and when they study.

This session will, using concrete examples of online activities, introduce the framework, it’s key principles and our strategy for delivering high quality online distance learning at UAL.
